After a decade or so of sleeping, the legend of Indiana Jones is revived with the release of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this summer. For most who remember Indiana Jones it brought back memories of the adventurer who always manages to get on top of things. He isn’t a super hero or invincible, he’s a regular guy who takes spills and falls with resulting aches and pains to show for it which makes him one of the most influential movie characters of all time. No wonder the fedora, the hat he wears, suddenly swings into the spotlight once again not only for men but also for some of Hollywood’s hottest women. Throw in those tight pants and you can call it the 80′s once again as we salute one of pop cultures idol for adventure!
Summer is here and so is the pending release of the Incredible Hulk 2, where mild mannered scientist Bruce Banner is desperate to find a cure for his radiation sickness that turns him into the Hulk, the green super-human that is capable of incredible feats. The comic character turned action movie is, like most sci-fi films heavily reliant on CG rendering where most of the special effects and action takes place. It remains to be seen if the green superheroes rises to the occasion and continues to evade his archenemies General Thunderbolt Ross and a new enemy with equally great strength The Abomination.
She is considered a rebel by most (even by her dad whom she hates) due to her hard lines roles in the movies but she falls for Brad and they’re now expecting twins. They are one of the hottest couples in Hollywood to date and their preparations for their new babies are in full gear. Spied upon to have shelled almost 0,000 in stuff for the nursery of their coming children. They have chandeliers basinets and cribs just like the rest of us but theirs cost thousands of dollars and some change. Both were hot and in demand when they were singles and now that they’re having kids, they’re hotter than ever. Moving to France was a good idea for the world is always hungry for news of their lives as they go from day to day. Even with their unpublicized trips and strolls in the park, they still manage to get on the headlines, more power you two.
It helps to be the daughter of a platinum singer artist dad, but as young as she is she is making headlines. With her soaring popularity, the scandal was immediately dismissed as a case of wrong judgment (art????? what art. In times when child pornography is a growing concern this seems to come a bit too much). Just hope she doesn’t turn out to be another Britney or Lindsey…. Crash and burn ladies.
Another of the UK’s most talked about rebels in the music scene (sadly for all the wrong stuff….. booze, drugs and a bit of violence thrown in for good measure) she’s a fresh face, ecclectic and sometimes wierd, but it does offer a unique view of some hidden British culture. Many Brits embrace her as a fresh and new face that is like no other. Her boyfriend and fellow artist being in court, is expected to get some jail time as their precarious lifestyle takes its toll on their personal lives as the camera’s keep shooting and the gossip keeps pouring in. She may be kinda’ weird to some but for many, her fresh style is like no other with songs titled to the tune of drugs she oh so loves.

Sharks have been around for at least 400 million years, actually, 200 million years before the dinosaurs. They are powerful and appealing sea animals and here are some facts I’ll wager you are not aware of.
There are more than 350 kinds of sharks, starting with very tiny ones like, the Dwarf Lantern Shark, only 7” in length, to the outrageously huge, the Whale Shark, achieving a size up to 50 feet long.
All the oceans in the world are the homes of sharks.
Lots of sharks lay eggs but most sharks have live babies, about 6-12 babies at a time. A notable exception is that Tiger and Hammerhead sharks give birth to up to 40 babies all at once!
There are no bones in a shark’s body; its skeleton is is made totally of cartilage.
Sharks have an amazing sense of smell, and they are very sensitive to vibrations in the water. They pick up on motion in the water hundreds of feet away from them, and sound waves thousands of feet away. They are able to zero in on from which direction the sound is coming from.
Tiny protrusions called denticles cover a shark’s skin, and they are like little razor sharp teeth.
The reason sharks must move constantly is that they are denser than sea water and they will sink of they are still.
Sharks don’t sleep like we do. They may look like they are taking a nap they are sleeping, but they are only resting.
Basking sharks are pregnant for 2 years, while most other sharks are pregnant for a few months.
Sharks can dislocate their jaws to take a bite.
If a shark has ingested something it cannot digest (such as a turtle shell, or metal), it thrusts its stomach out through its mouth to vomit and then withdraws it back inside.
Weird things have been found inside a shark’s body such as: a torpedo, a drum, a suit of armor, a bottle of wine, and a treasure chest!
A shark cannot eat a Puffer Fish as the Puffer Fish blows up like a balloon and then pokes the shark’s mouth with its sharp body needles.
Average swimming speed for sharks is about 20-40 MPH, however the Mako Shark can swim up to 60 miles an hour!
Sharks have three types of fins: One fin below their body and 2 on their backs called dorsal fins. The body fin is called the pectoral fin (not all sharks have the pectoral fin), and a 3rd sort of fin on their tail is called the caudal fin.
Sharks have numerous rows of teeth and as they fall out, the teeth are replaced bynew teeth growing in from behind, in a convery belt fashion. The Whale shark has 4000 teeth, but each tooth is less than an 1/8 inch long. Itcan regrow a 1000 sets of teeth during its lifetime.
Only around 25 types of shark attack people, and around 6 people a year are actually killed bysharks, although they produce such fear due to films such as “Jaws.” Also, 90% of people attacked by a shark, survive.
Shark’s rough skin was used to polish wood before the invention of sand paper.
The Bull shark is the only shark able to live in both salt and fresh water.
The Swell shark, found around New Zealand, barks like a dog!
Florida Indians used Great White teeth as arrowheads..
The shark is certainly an amazing and adaptable beast! It used to be called the “Sea Dog” until it was first named a shark around 1570. Yarns will always be told in years to come, just as they have been in the past about these ‘Sea Dogs,’ whose legends are ever lasting. Though you cannot own a shark for a pet, the next best thing is a remote control shark!

He asked a friend to drag him behind a truck so that he could have a believable case of road rash when he filed the claim.
